As a local small business owner and operator Yaz Mubarakai understands the needs of small business operators and young families in WA.
Yaz has lived in the area for 20 years and runs the Success Post Office, food outlets, Café Royal and the Majestic India restaurant, and is a Sumo Salad franchisee. He also served as a City of Cockburn councillor from 2011 to 2015.

He also believes we need to invest in our schools, not slash their funding, and is committed to ensuring our community has the best health care possible that puts patients' needs first.
Yaz holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Masters of Commerce, Graduate Diploma in Information Systems and a Masters in Business Marketing and Finance. He is a member of the South Metropolitan Regional Council, Cockburn Rotary and the Tarmac Group.
