Electoral Boundaries
The electorate of Oakford was created following a redistribution in 2023, which first took effect in the 2025 State Election.
The Oakford electorate encompasses all or part of the suburbs Anketell, Aubin Grove, Banjup, Brookdale, Casuarina, Darling Downs, Doobarda, Forrestdale, Harrisdale, Haynes, Hilbert, Oakford, Piara Waters and Wandi.
Constituents who sat in the electorates of Armadale, Darling Range, Jandakot, or Kwinana before the 2023 redistribution may now sit within a new electoral boundary:
- Armadale
- Electors who live in the suburbs of Hilbert, Haynes, Brookdale, and Oakford will now sit within the electoral boundary of Oakford.
- Darling Range
- Electors who live in the suburb of Casuarina will now sit within the electoral boundary of Oakford.
- Jandakot
- Electors who live in the suburbs of Piara Waters and Forrestdale will now sit within the electoral boundary of Oakford.
- Electors who live in the suburbs of Jandakot, Treeby, Canning Vale, or Leeming will remain in the electoral boundary of Jandakot.
- Electors who live in the suburbs of Harrisdale or Banjup may sit within the electoral boundaries of either Oakford or Jandakot, depending on their address.
- Kwinana
- Electors who live in the suburbs of Anketell, Aubin Grove, Casuarina, and Wandi will now sit within the electoral boundary of Oakford.
